Nice composition and the beautiful sky has a distint impressionist feel. I really like this :-)
Great! Thanks Theresa for your nice words.
MMM nice, these are much briefer than your previous streetscenes maybe a continuation of your brief interiors?
Hi Simon, yes, I tried to keep them simple. One of the reasons was that the photo references because they were taken at dusk did not give a lot of useful information. It was frustrating. I couldn't really see what was going on. I have forced myself to do six so four more to come.
These day's end pieces are wonderful. You are so adept at portraying the lighting and the architectural shapes, that a poor reference photo was not an obstacle. I look forward to more.
Thank you Dar - it's good to hear you say that. I just got quite frustrated peering at the screen, especially after painting the still lifes from life which is so enjoyable actually.
Sheila,Wonderfully done...love the twilight and the buildings getting submerged into dark. Very nice! Nina
Thank you Nina. Glad you like it.
