It's so interesting when you get into these empty rural areas how the scene before your eyes constantly changes as you walk along. I have got into the habit now of turning round sometimes on my walk and just looking back at what I have travelled through and the perception, the vision has always changed. I suppose in some ways the journey itself is the destination.

I love this Sheila! The textures are gorgeous too. I totally agree about the changing perspectives on a walk - I always stop and turn around too :-) Is this near Dovestones by any chance?
Hi Theresa, thanks for your kind comments. No, it's not Dovestones. It's up near Woodhead reservoir at Crowden. That bit of water you see top left is Woodhead reservoir.
Not been up there for ages ... must get my boots on :-)
