To the Hills

This painting has been selected for the 2010 Society of Women Artists' exhibition at the Mall Galleries, London 1st - 10th July.

Oil on hardboard 8" x 8" Please contact me if you are interested in purchasing this painting

These white flowers were crying out to be painted although I usually ignore the cries. Can you see the little cyclist up there in a red shirt?

Just have to leave a comment here Sheila. This painting really shimmers for me and I would so like to wander up into those hills on a day such as those we had last week. Makes me want to go and find my walking boots!

Thank you Marjorie. Yes, we don't enjoy many days like that do we but when we do they are something special.

reminds me of Nova Scotia, which reminds me of England. Same weather too.

Mary, hi. Ah! I didn't know that about Nova Scotia, that it shared the same weather systems as we do. Well lots of rain makes lots of green, so there you go.
