This painting has been sold

Oil on hardboard 8" x 8"

Now and again you get a fine day like this. You're up at Torside, the boats are out, and you could almost be in Italy!

Hi Sheila, in the previous post you captured light in the sky and on the road and it worked beautifully. And the one before that the blue is exquisite in the water. In like this one but I think you need more magical light (I hope you don't mind being honest about this) r.

hello Sheila, I've been enjoying looking at your blog and your lovely paintings. I'm impressed by your sense of colour harmony, and serenity you achieve in each painting. I would like to include your blog link to my blogroll. I hope you dont mind that.

Hi Rahina, nice to see you again. Thank you for the kind comments and I would never be offended by constructive criticism. I have studied the painting again and I don't think I would change it to be honest. I know it has a kind of dull, dreamy quality but that is more or less what I wanted for this one. I suppose it reflected my mood at the time. I am however really happy about your response. Thank you for that!

Hi Sheila,

This is beautiful. I lost track of you for a while. I lost my bog list, and couldn't remember what all of the names were. I just love your work.
