This is a very nice little piece. I'm a big fan of Hopper and this one reminds me of some of his streetscapes.

Lonely and quiet, this scene looks like Sunday morning downtown in almost any city in the world. It's peaceful while the business world is on holiday for Sabbath.

Thank you Diana, the light was hitting the windows in such a way that even they looked as if they had gone to sleep!

This is quite peaceful, a quite street waking. Wonderful time of morning for stillness and light. What does the sign on the shop say?

Thank you Jeffrey. The sign says "Ladrose". It's a hairdressers.

Rob, I'd been looking at this one for a while. Every time I went past this place when the sun was hitting it I thought, I'll paint that one day. Well now I have.
