I can't imagine how you get acrylic paint to behave this way.
Thanks Chris. I continue to learn about the behaviour of acrylic paint on different surfaces and it is a struggle and a challenge to achieve something that satisfies me. I use quite a lot of layers. I may overpaint something 5 or 6 times to get the depth. I would love to get the look of oil painting but the slow drying time, especially the difficulty of overpainting quickly if you want to correct things, have stopped me from persevering with it.
